Hey, im Sohaya.
I’m a designer who tries to understand how people, behavior, and context connect before I design anything. I’m a creative problem-solver who values clear communication and collaboration, and I do my best work when I’m building alongside others and learning from different perspectives.
My work is grounded in research and data, helping me stay focused on the real problem.
I work primarily in Figma and use AI as part of my process to explore ideas and move quickly. Outside of design, I enjoy embroidery and origami anything that lets me slow down and create with my hands.
Apart from design I like to spend my time making with my hands, from embroidery to origami. It's taught me patience and the ability to work with multiple materials.
I also have an affinity for writing. It has always been my passion and I strive to create engaging and compelling stories through my work. I have also taught creative writing to 7th graders.
I like taking photos and chatting with the people I photograph. It's been a great way for me to explore unfamiliar spaces through their local perspectives.
